Neil Davidson, Baron Davidson of Glen ClovaNeil Davidson – This page was moved from Neil Davidson in 2006 in preparation for creating another biographical article for another person named "Neil Davidson". It is now 2013, and that article still has yet to be created. At the present time, the "new page" is a redirect towards the "old page". --Moved from WP:RMTR. • ...And on that note, I just learned what "peerage" means. Anyways, I'm going to leave this RM up since I do not know if the peerage is notable enough to be in the article's title, and given the fact that this individual is currently the only "Neil Davidson" on Wikipedia. Steel1943 (talk) 02:25, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. His title isn't here for disambiguation. It's here because under WP:NCPEER we generally use peerage titles in our article titles unless the holder is very well known under just their name. I don't think Davidson is well-known enough to qualify for this. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:44, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I see. I would have thought of the peerage title was being used for disambiguation. I see now that in cases such as mentioned in WP:NCPEER, if a person is not notable enough by their first name that "lack of disambiguation" and using their peerage in the article title is preferred. Thanks for the information; I'm going to withdraw this proposal. Steel1943 (talk) 18:05, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
