The real Neil Goldman[edit]

This article originally contained information on both the Family Guy character Neil Goldman and the Family Guy (and Scrubs) writer Neil Goldman. As these are two different subjects, I've split them into two articles. The character is still here, the writer is under Neil Goldman (writer). Just in case you're wondering where the info went. It might be appropriate, to avoid confusion, to move this article to Neil Goldman (Family Guy) or Neil Goldman (character) or something. --Gpollock 19:09, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In this case it would be very difficult to argue that one is more important than the other (whereas in the case of Miles O'Brien it's very easy to argue that the Star Trek character is better known). In my opinion, the preferred disambiguation parenthetical for the fictional character ought to be "(Family Guy)," since it's entirely possible that the writing staff of Scrubs might decide to create their own Neil Goldman character for that show.
