Name[edit]

If Neitiqerty was a faulty transcription of the name Netjerkare, shouldn't the article be renamed to Netjerkare Siptah? – Alensha talk 19:41, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alensha Yes! At last, 6 years later, we should do something about this, see below. Iry-Hor (talk) 09:01, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Netjerkare[edit]

This article and that on Netjerkare refer to the same person: Neitiqerty Siptah is the name given by the latest research to the successor of Nemtyemsaf II as given by the Turin canon and explaining the Nitocris legend (see Ryholt's paper). Netjerkare is the name of the successor of Nemtyemsaf II on the Abydos king list. As explained in the articles both are the same person and the articles should be merged. I will do it if nobody opposes it. Iry-Hor (talk) 09:01, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
