Husband

[edit]

Is Nell McAndrew really married to Paul Hardcastle, the musician? I seem to remember reading that her husband was a millionaire businessman. I think the link is pointing to the wrong person.

so do I - I've removed the link.

Her husband is not the musician, he merely has the same name as him. F W Nietzsche (talk) 15:43, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Marriages

[edit]

How can she be married to two people at once? The article as it sits now says:

In September 2004, she announced her engagment to long-term partner Paul Hardcastle. They are now married.

She was awarded Rear of the Year in 2005. She is now married to Dale Winton and following the Great North Run in 2005 announced she was pregnant.

So what's right? Who's the lucky (ever-so-lucky) guy? Dismas|(talk) 10:32, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just for future reference, according to Nell's website, "I didn't really marry Dale Winton! Dale's Wedding was a documentary style show for the BBC." Demos99 (talk) 21:33, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The 'wedding' to Winton was not real. It was part of a series of ludicrous fake documentaries for the BBC, each of which had a real celebrity at its centre, but with loads of completely bogus information regarding them, in an unsuccessful attempt to both fool the viewers into believing ridiculous things, and for comedy value. Winton is an out, camp homosexual. F W Nietzsche (talk) 15:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Eidos fired her because of the Playboy photos

[edit]

hmm... no mention of that here

Picture

[edit]

This article really needs a photo. Of course, it'll take some footwork to find one that adheres to Wikipolicy, but an article about a glamour model without a photo is pretty weak.

Playboy

[edit]

I removed the statement that McAndrew was the first British woman to pose nude for the cover of Playboy, because, well, she wasn't. First of all, she wasn't nude on the cover of the magazine; she appeared on the cover but her nude photos were inside the magazine. And she was far from the first British woman to be featured on the cover of Playboy and nude inside the magazine -- Downtown Julie Brown, Charlotte Lewis, Joan Collins, and likely others all preceded her. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:40, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
