Played for Bolton, not Dick Kerr's?

Nellie Halstead played centre forward for Bolton Ladies. Verbal evidence from Joan Whalley who played for the Dick, Kerr Ladies for over twenty years supports this. They were friends during that time. Joan did not confirm that Nellie ever played for the Dick, Kerr Ladies. She said how fast she was when they played against her at Bolton Ladies.
