disambg page, but should be an article --Noypi380 04:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • The current 2006 Democracy movement in Nepal has a fast-growing article that seems to be working well in its current location. I don't know how well it would be suited as a section of a central article. I agree the Jana Andolan article should be merged here, but would advocate a brief summary of Loktantra Andolan whiel leaving the current, separate articel as is. • I don't really agree with either merge. There have been multiple democracy movements in Nepal.... but Wikipedia having a strong bias towards current events covers them incredibly unequally. Therefore, if you merge it and you go to "Democracy movement in Nepal" you'll get the feeling that only the 2006 movement mattered and the 1990s stuff was nothing... which (and I'm not an expert by any means) isn't true. So, I think merging would make the bias that exists moer apparent and if we try to event out this page somewhat with an overview from the beginning of democracy movements... then having a well fleshed out and separate 2006 sub-page would work well. gren グレン 13:06, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think this is best as a disambig for now. Neither the 2006 or 1990 movement are the "Democracy movement in Nepal". This may change if this name becomes definitively associated with what's happening now, but who knows where that will go at present. Mgekelly - Talk 08:06, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • If this is a disambiguation page, why do we have s stub tag? --Kushalt 22:51, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
