Ok - will take a look at this one. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:21, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Only have bold in lead.

Link moorlands in lead

Today, nearby hills and woodlands, including Exmoor National Park, has provided opportunities for general scientific introductory field courses on environmental themes and botany. - err, "have"?

Nettlecombe was held in continuity by Trevillian successors until the 20th century. - why did they leave? Also, under the family section there is.... Nettlecombe remained as a family estate occupied by the Trevelyan family until the late 19th century. - need to align these and maybe consolidate in one place (?)
- Have found a source for the death of last relatives in 20th century so clarified.— Rod talk 12:34, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
My initial reading took the Field Studies Council to be an environmental group. This bit might need some extra explaining - i.e. what does the Leonard Wills Centre do.
- added a note re educational charity for FSC, but Leonard Wills does say serves as a centre for field scientists. — Rod talk 10:28, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
to host a sophisticated intellectual and artistic salon of the day - salon means what here? I am not familiar with the term so a link'd be good.

Nettlecombe Court has several emblems and carvings bearing the image of a horse rising from the sea, which are the Trevillian family arms, found throughout Nettlecombe - two "Nettlecombe"s in one sentence - can we streamline....
- Changed— Rod talk 12:34, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
In the Arms and legend section, might want to link to key characters - also looks confusing that spelling of Lyonesse changes...
- Standardised & wikilinked.— Rod talk 14:14, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
*I added a [citation needed] tag..
- It seems logical that the size of the trees will depend on environmental conditions but I can't find a source specifically saying this in relation to Nettlecombe Acorns - I'd be happy to remove the last sentence if needed.— Rod talk 14:14, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- I'd wonder whether there was some local boasting rather than a fact confirmed by evidence - I was in Tasmania where there are alot of introduced oaks, and locals talking about how much quicker they grew there than in the UK. Same with various other trrees outside their locales from time to time. Hence I think removing the line is prudent. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:06, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- Removed— Rod talk 17:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Any more on the environment - info about lichens - I think would be interesting.
- Not sure what else to put about lichens beyond what is mentioned in the "Park" section based on the SSSI notification sheet. There is lots more in this paper from the Field Studies Journal but this may be beyond the scope of this article.— Rod talk 14:20, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- Interesting paper, but agree it is difficult to extract other succinct notable points to add. Maybe something about the removal of houses in the 19th century and relocation of their occupants to Woodford and some of the history (?) Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:34, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- I've added in a bit about the landscaping etc, but some of it was already there with another source - is this enough?— Rod talk 17:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
Otherwise looking good. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:42, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Overall:
- Pass or Fail: - O'er the GA line now. If you're thinking about FAC, if there was anything more on the people who lived in the house, and maybe some more expansion on the parks and their history since Norman times (though I appreciate the difficulty of extracting the right bits of info......)
