This is my first article for Wiki so any advice or comments would be welcome. I got a bit confused when it came to adding citatios so any help with that would be great. Thanks--Tres80 18:49, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup, etc: Hello. I've tidied up your article & put it into wiki format. But you still need to add citations, at the very least when you have used direct speech quotes. You could also build links to other pages, e.g. Keith Simpson, Albert Pierrepoint, etc.Brianboulton (talk) 23:52, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Impostor?

[edit]

This fellow is categorised under "Impostors", but the only meat to this shown in the article is that he used a number of aliases and apparently once styled himself a Lieutenant-Colonel on a hotel register -- and hotel registers are a noted venue for fictional licence. Technically, yes, an imposter, I suppose, but I think by any reasonable standard something more than this is required for someone to be notable as an impostor -- such as a sustained effort to establish oneself in the false identity, claim status and credentials one has not earned, and a profit motive (as opposed to merely obscuring one's identity).

For this reason, I am removing the "Impostor" category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.223.125.168 (talk) 19:41, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Milligan book needs specifying

[edit]

For benefit of readers who will not have read Spike Milligan's War Memoirs, it would be useful to specify the title of the book in which his reference to Heath occurs. Milligan wrote in all six such books which ended in "Peace Work", but would it have been classed as being under the 'War' phase? (I have myself read most of the books but not until today had I heard of that one.)Cloptonson (talk) 14:29, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

One of these ? Spike_Milligan#Memoirs --195.137.93.171 (talk) 19:49, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
