Is there an official website?

If yes, it should be added to the site. --87.174.220.155 (talk) 14:21, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

The official website will be launched as soon as the agreement of the New Development Bank be ratified for all founding members. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.9.20.129 (talk) 21:15, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

http://ndbbrics.org is a fake website, the correct address is http://www.ndb.int Akosarev (talk) 09:52, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

1st paragraph

At the moment it says that the NDB was established "as an alternative to the existing American and European-dominated World Bank and International Monetary Fund.[2]" Taking the cited source (Voice of America) into account, I think that it is not neutral. I think that this phrase must be corrected as follows: "is a multilateral development bank established by the BRICS states (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) with an objective of funding infrastructure projects in the developing countries [2]" The [2] link should lead to the official website of the bank http://www.ndb.int/about-us.php Akosarev (talk) 08:04, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

I suggest adding links to official documents available at the website of the bank. For example, this link http://www.ndb.int/download/Agreement%20on%20the%20New%20Development%20Bank.pdf can be useful here: "On 15 July 2014, the first day of the 6th BRICS summit held in Fortaleza, Brazil, the BRICS states signed the Agreement on the New Development Bank..." I think it is better to have links to the official website of the organization rather then link documents on the governments' websites as they are likely to be moved to some other place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Akosarev (talkcontribs) 08:11, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

Assertive character of the article

It is clear that at the moment the article has an assertive character. For example, take the sentence "Both are partly motivated by the desire to counter the influence of Western-based lending institutions". This clearly is an opinion, not a fact. I suggest that all remarks of this kind should be clearly marked as opinions. Moreover, it is necessary to have quotation marks and links to indicate the sources of such statements. Key Principles section needs revision

Please note that section entitled Key Principles does not have any supporting references and mainly contains opinion points and not facts. It seems that this part of the article is not directly related to the principles postulated by the NDB itself. This section seems to be an extract from some article. Moreover, it contains comparisons with the Chinese Development Bank which are not strictly encyclopedic. Akosarev (talk) 09:31, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
