Comments:

  1. I am not sure if the article should have been moved to New Jersey Route 158. It could have remained at Centre Street Bridge (Newark) as the article seems to more specifically describe the bridge than Route 158. {{infobox bridge}}, describing all the historical information about the bridge and including a picture, should be used instead of infobox road for Route 158. A Route 158 shield can be added in the Roadway bridge section, along with the Route 25AD shield, the browse for Route 158 can be moved to the bottom of the page, and {{Crossings navbox}} can be used to show waht bridge is upstream and what bridge is downstream
  2. Remove picture from infobox and place in prose
  3. Try to get a map showing the former route for the infobox
  4. Is the exact year the bridge was torn down known?
  5. "New Jersey Route 158 (also known as the Centre Street Bridge) in Newark, New Jersey and Harrison, New Jersey in the counties of Essex and Hudson in the United States." is a sentence fragment
  6. Delink Park Place as it is probably not a major road
  7. Make sure information from lead appears later in article
  8. "July of 1901" should be "July 1901"
  9. The sentence "It was proposed to be completed by the end of the summer in that year, to help commuters to New York City and the authorization to be proposed for subways in the city by the state of New Jersey." sounds awkward
  10. "upper-level" should not be hyphenated
  11. Remove redundant wikilink to Pennsylvania Railroad
  12. "and the plans for the eighty-six trains to run in each direction of that line." sounds awkward
  13. Add comma after "Port Authority Trans-Hudson"
  14. "construction completed": add "was" in between construction and completed
  15. Fix spelling of "R6OUTE"
  16. Is it nessecary to provide the word-for-word legislation for Route 25A in this article? This article is not about Route 25A. Instead, you shouls summarize in your own words where the route was to run from
  17. Provide a wikilink to 1953 New Jersey state highway renumbering
  18. Is the mileage for the Second Street intersection known?

I am placing the article on hold Dough4872 (talk) 01:55, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done, even though we disagree on what the title should be :(.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 10:03, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, but my rationale for moving the article back to Centre Street Bridge (Newark) is that the article more describes the bridge and its history than the Route 158 designation; only a section of the article describes the route designations. The information concerning the Centre Street Bridge as a railroad bridge has nothing to do with Route 158 and thus "New Jersey Route 158" would be an inappropriate title for the article. It is okay for a route designation to redirect to an article about a bridge, as New Jersey Route 163 redirects to Delaware Bridge. Anyway, I am sure more people researching historical information about the bridge would feel "Centre Street Bridge (Newark)" is a more appropriate title for the article. Actually if you haven't noticed, I am rewriting NJ 163 back to NJ 163. There were complaints to me, so I feel like getting this reversed.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 21:04, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
