This article does not seem objective enough. The language is too overly supportive of the New York Civil Liberties Union. I think someone should try to rewrite this.

I assume you're referring specifically to the "Recent and current work" section? I can work on it a little. Chocolateluvr88 (talk) 20:12, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is highly biased and opinionated. The "School-to-prison pipeline" for example, is a sociological hypothesis to begin with, not an empirical fact. The article is just a ringing endorsement of the NYCLU, and promotive of their beliefs and activities. The entire article should be re-written from an objective point of view. Regarding, you know, the notices on the page

[edit]

Hey all,

Wondering what's going on with the notices on the page. For the most part, it seems that this article's main input is User:NYClu - still. I'll have to revert nearly all of their edits to this point. Any input on this? While I feel that their edits have been constructive, I'm really questioning how the page can be worked on for ten years (after the fact!) and still maintain no WP:NPOV. How should we move forward? Excited to see this page soon.
