Isn't it weird that we can't find a logo? I'll try taking a picture if I ever go there for SATs again. --M1ss1ontomars2k4 | T | C | @ 04:59, 16 May 2006 (UTC) although gwen araujo lived in newark and did go to nusd schoos, she didn't attend newark memorial and went to an alternative high school instead.[reply]

--- I'm going to work on this page for a while, so it matches up better with the other MVAL schools. There may be some sketchy sections for a day or two, while I arrange the contents that I intend to include. --Hjal 01:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Newark Unified School District

[edit]

This section should be its own article, with links pointing to it not this article. see the articles for the oakland, berkeley, hayward, fremont usd.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:01, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As I'm in the District's boundaries, I can help write the article if anyone wants to give me guidance. santanac82 23:00, 05 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notable alumni

[edit]

I edited the notable alumni section, removing non-notable people and those who couldn't be sourced while also editing the entries to move them more in line with Wikipedia conventions. If someone disagrees with these changes, we can discuss why here. Angryapathy (talk) 19:15, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As this issue has popped up again, I would refer editors to the guidelines laid out at WP:NLIST. To summarize, the guideline states that the person should have their own article AND have a source stating that the person actually went to the school in question. However, since guidelines aren't set in stone, I would be happy with a reliable source stating that the person actually went to this high school and has done something notable, i.e. be mentioned in an indepedant, reliable source. If anyone would like to discuss these issues, feel free to discuss here. Angryapathy (talk) 16:55, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
