How is an individual ward a notable article topic?[edit]

I would expect almost all electoral wards to be notable, considering they have elections involving thousands of voters. This one has the most comprehensive history I've seen, but a 'refimprove' template wouldn't go amiss!! Personally I'd prefer to see a bit of a description of the ward and any notable events (though maybe there haven't been any worth mentioning). Sionk (talk) 21:51, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It remains my view that this entire article is a waste of space. The election results should already be on the Kirklees Council Elections pages; take those away and there is nothing left here. MapReader (talk) 14:41, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
