Alterations[edit]

Firstly Aghagay is the official spelling of the townland as used by Logainm and PlaceNames. Aghagee recieves a mention in the picture notes, however do we need to include older spelling variants? If so that could lead to long afterlist for some townlands.

Secondly the Irish version of the name is problematic. PlaceNames gives a possibility which differs, and Logainm haven't adopted the Achadh Ge given in the notes as either their non-validated or validated form. This is something we didn't anticipate when discussing the IMOS issue (which i noticed you ignored in this instance by not using a derive style). We agreed to use Irish forms provided by Logainm but if they haven't adopted one from old records hosted on their site then does that count? Mabuska ^(talk) 10:37, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
