I'm Confused
[edit]"and dated Kathy O Gorman of Monaleen and Cork. Nicole & Kathy are on speaking terms and have been spotted having brunch in various Cork/Dublin eateries." Who is Nicole? Is it important that she is on speaking terms with someone and why should anyone really care?

There is some serious lack of references, the man has a successful career and needs more tidying up — Preceding unsigned comment added by Opal3irl (talk • contribs) 17:09, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- The Afd Notice was removed without justification and is reinstated accordingly until it can be expalined why the article is notable.

That may be so, but you have no right to remove the article content without allowing a discussion first on the matter. I've replaced the article, including the tag, so that the deletion of the article can be debated as it should be. Personally, I don't think the page justifies a nomination, but we'll consider that on its deletion page. Meanwhile, I'm adding a WikiProject Irish Music tag to this talk page, and will be informing the members of the project about it's nomination. NaLaochra (U|T) 00:49, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- This article seems to be totally an individual's promotion. There is nothing notable about Breslin, that could not be said about other aspirant pop-stars. If he were successful as a recording artist and performer and was well known, then the article could remain, otherwise deletion is appropriate.

- "Aspirant pop-star" is an inappropriate description in this case. Breslin and his band are well known in Ireland. He is successful as a recording artist and performer. DoktorDec 22:23, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
There does seem to be merit in keeping this here, as he now has a major label deal with Sony and has an album coming out. I've changed the bit about his "admitting" an addiction to pop music, however, as one cannot "admit" to something which is impossible.217.33.154.66 (talk) 12:17, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
