The result of the move request was: Move to Nicholas Taylor, after moving existing page to Nicholas Taylor (politician). - UtherSRG (talk) 01:56, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– The legal first name for most of the entries on this page is "Nicholas", Nick being the short-form or nickname. Nicholas is better suited for the title since it covers most of the entries Ortizesp (talk) 00:10, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination and would also support Nicholas TaylorNicholas Taylor (politician) to make room for move. A similar move request for Ben DavisBenjamin Davis is currently active at Talk:Ben Davis#Requested move 24 September 2022. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 04:03, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support its better to use the original name rather than a modifier unless all or perhaps only 1 use the modifier and with respect to Fred Smith it can be a modifier of Frederick, Alfred, Manfred, or Wilfred so the modifier is probably better there while "Nick" is a modifier of only Nicholas so the original name makes sense. Also support moving the geologist as they have 97 views but the golfer has 323, Canadian footballer has 130, the tennis player (at "Nicholas Taylor (tennis)") has 70, the basketball player has 49, the footballer has 26, the squash player has 21, the cricketer, born 1963 has 17, the cricketer, born 1996 has 9 and the Bloodrock has 5[[1]]. I'm not sure where to though possibly Nicholas Taylor (geologist). Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:37, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
