Year of birth[edit]

Sources based on "Munroe, John A. "Senator Nicholas Van Dyke of New Castle." Delaware History 4 (1951): 207-226." will typically say he is born in 1770 (e.g. [1]). A source from 1912 says he was born in 1769.[2] Findagrave.com claims a birth date of 1769 but the photos of the gravestone on that site are illegible, at least to me. It is possible the true year of birth is lost to time, but I'm went with the 1912 source and renamed the article. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:12, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
