Citizenship issues

[edit]

I have noticed several incorrect editions in the article where third parties enter to edit and change the article with things related to the nationality of the person.

He is Peruvian by birth, Mexican by naturalization and also has Italian citizenship, the references already placed in the article say so. Bogartlipa1989 (talk) 09:20, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the people who edit the article do so because there is talk on the internet that Nicola has been denied said citizenship, something that is totally false since there is no official restriction that says this. Since 1998, the Mexican Nationality Law allows Mexicans to have double or multiple nationalities in addition to the Mexican one, whether they are born in the country or outside of it.

Official references say that the person obtained citizenship since 2020.

What is said on the internet about the supposed denial of Mexican citizenship is totally false, and could only be taken as a simple way to gain fame and controversy.Bogartlipa1989 (talk) 09:21, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
