an outcome of multiple editors

The first definition is a real problem; close voicing and root position do NOT define 'ninth chord'. It can be any inversion and any position. This is terrible. In other types of 'ninth chord' below we're given inversions, for instance.

Under the first heading "Dominant Ninth," CMAJ9 is use as an example. As a major, is not a MAJ9 tonic?

Beethoven[edit]

All sharps in guitar music?[edit]

I noticed that in the "Ninth and major ninth chords with sheet music and tab" picture, all of the accidentals are sharp, even where it would make more sense to use flats. It seems weird to write the C9 for example with an "A#" instead of a "Bb". Was this done in a program by somebody who doesn't really read sheet music? "Add9 Chord Chart Guide for Guitarists" section is not relivent[edit]
