Pliny the Elder?

[edit]

Assuming the reference to Pliny the Elder was to Natural History VII.II, I think that was a misreading- he describes the people of Sri Lanka as being extremely long-lived, and then immediately goes on to talk about Duris' account of hairy-tailed and half-animal peoples in an unspecified part of India. I've taken it out for now. If he made a clearer reference to an early version of Nittaewo folklore somewhere else, feel free to put it back in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.9.226.252 (talk) 03:40, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
