I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:50, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, you got one! :P Parsecboy (talk) 22:07, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thought that you'd be amused. ;-) Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:09, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Image properly licensed, no DABs
  • Link class in the lede
    • Done
  • Their hulls were iron-built, using tranverse iron frames and with wooden decks. awkward
    • Reworded (and shortened)
  • Don't abbreviate metric horsepower in the main body
    • Good idea - since I've started using the {{cvt}} template I have to remember to make myself use the full one for some things
      • Agreed, cvt is a godsend, but must remember not to use it for knots and it's useless for long tons
  • she could steam they
    • Good catch
  • could not be steered at all while under sail So uncontrollable under sail alone? I don't think I've ever seen a steam ship mentioned as bad as that under sail.
    • Yeah, it struck me as odd as well - lots of these sail/steam era ships had poor performance under sail, but I've never seen anything that bad
  • She carried an armament They
    • Fixed
  • When was Salamander put into reserve?
    • Added
  • Wooden stokeholds from an experienced British builder? How curious.
    • Yeah, I thought that was odd too - but then, it was the mid-19th century, and British builders did plenty of stupid things
  • Salamander had to be withdrawn from service due to an outbreak of cholera among the crew?
    • Clarified
  • they passed into Royal Navy control Passive voice howzabout "were transferred to"
    • Done
  • Comma after Malta
    • Done
  • Which volume of Gröner?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:14, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Now I'm going to need to go fix all of the refs in several hundred articles... Parsecboy (talk) 11:56, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Hey, I've always said that the easiest way to boost your edit count was to make a mistake and propagate across dozens or hundreds of articles; and then get caught noticed and have to fix them all! You should be grateful to me for this opportunity!--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:32, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • Haha, I guess that's true. It turned out to be 295 articles that needed to be fixed (hopefully I haven't missed any) and 2 hours of my time - times like that make me wish I knew how to run a bot. Parsecboy (talk) 15:44, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
          • Crikey, mate! My ADD wouldn't allow me to do more than a dozen or two at a time, I'm afraid.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:53, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
            • Yeah, it was pretty brutal, even interspersing it with work ;) Parsecboy (talk) 16:25, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
