Racist?

[edit]

Umm... noted Boston film critic Bob Chipman called the trailer at least ("Welcome to Asia") racist on his blog, and he's probably right. Any other sources criticizing this? It seems like something that belongs in the article. Hijiri 88 (やや) 23:59, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Noted film critic? The man is a blogger with a moderate following. I think noted Boston film critic is little bit of a stretch.50.58.5.2 (talk) 13:18, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reception

[edit]

The film has a 40% rating at RT. Shouldn't that be "mostly negative reviews" and not "mixed"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:420:28E:1001:1943:E16F:6C59:6383 (talk) 18:27, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Country

[edit]

The movie seems to be set in Cambodia, I saw writing similar to this "ជំរាបសួរ" written a few times. Also they boarder Vietnam. So its either Vietnam or Laos... But Lao looks like this "ສະບາຍດີ". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.3.128.130 (talk) 07:06, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You do realise the movie is fictional, right? In any case, it's set in Phaic Tăn ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 19:30, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thaksin was Thai not Khmer

[edit]

The article says that "the plot is loosely based on events which took place in Cambodia in 2006 about Thaksin, the former prime minister of Cambodia." However, the link is to the Wikipedia page on the 2006 coup in Thailand which identifies Thaksin as the former prime minister of that country. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsperberg (talkcontribs) 02:20, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
