Chord in measure 8[edit]

The image of the score clearly has an F# minor triad in the left hand in measure 8, and specifically an F# bass note on the downbeat. However, in the linked recording, the bass note sounds as a D#. Listening to various recordings around the internet, both of these variants are sometimes played. I have the Henle urtext of the Chopin nocturnes. It contains two versions of the posthumous C# minor, both with an F# minor in measure 8. Is there any additional information on the existence and ubiquity of the other version? Is it an unauthorized edition? Felipe2342 (talk) 14:52, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
