"A nonlinear version of Schrödinger's equation"?

How can it be said to be "a nonlinear version of Schrödinger's equation" if it doesn't even describe the same thing as the Schrödinger equation (which is what I guess is meant by "Schrödinger's equation")? That makes no sense to me. —Kri (talk) 09:59, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and removed the claim that it was a nonlinear version of the Schrödinger equation; I replaced that with that is is a nonlinear partial differential equation instead. —Kri (talk) 03:13, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
