----[edit]

I cut and pasted this from the main article:

The website "Noted Nonagenarians and Centenarians" made a case in late July 2006 that she was most likely no longer alive, based on the assertion that no information could be found on her past 1934. She was removed from that site, although no date of death could be found. At the end of July 2006, however, Baring's listing on IMDB was updated to show that she died in a car accident in London on April 1, 1944. A month later, it was again updated to February 8, 1985, with the cause of death listed as "natural causes."

This seems better suited to the discussion page. Schmiteye 06:10, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Research on Baring, showing how the 1985 date was arrived at, is chronicled on the Alfred Hitchcock Wiki: https://the.hitchcock.zone/wiki/Norah_Baring. Crisso (talk) 15:18, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
