I will review this article. My review will be posted shortly. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 00:51, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to quick fail this article. The following issues must be addressed before another Good article nomination is attempted:

  1. For the most part, this article lacks reliable sources. There are a couple sources, but more sources are needed before this article can pass.
  2. This article is almost an orphan, as there are few wikilinks. There should be more wikilinks in this article; just remember not to overlink.
  3. This article also lacks a suitable image. While images are not required, they are strongly recommended.
  4. This article is not broad in coverage; very little information is provided regarding the neighborhood.
  5. This article could use a copy edit for grammar.

Once these issues have been addressed, feel free to renominate this article. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 01:01, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

Since both the GA nominator and the primary contributor of the article are new users, I just wanted to point out the good article criteria. I know they are linked to from the template on the talkpage, but you may not have noticed the link. These are the criteria that we use to assess articles as "good articles". You are on the right track with references, but it would help if you were using a wider variety, as you seem to only be using three at the moment. I can't see any place in particular that is missing sources though. The main thing for GA reviews is to make sure that any statements that anyone is likely to question has a citation, as well as statistics or direct quotes.

The main issue with this article at the moment is that it needs some more content. See if you can find out information of demographics of the neighbourhood, or the transport links, or educational facilities for example. Another article on a US city neighbourhood that you could compare to is Georgetown (Washington, D.C.). That's not a "Good Article" yet either, but it may give you some ideas. It also needs a more extensive lead section that summarises the rest of the article. When some more content has been added, you might want to submit the article for a peer review, which is a bit more informal than a GA review, but might yield some more detailed suggestions. Hope this helps.--BelovedFreak 01:41, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
