Augustine's law may be correct, but the graph used to illustrate it surely isn't

The graph used to illustrate Augustine's law has several problems, as I've pointed out on its Commons' talkpage, so it needs to be revised or removed. (PS. I'm pretty sure Augustine's law actually has merits, it's just that the accompanying graph is constructed from faulty data). Mojowiha (talk) 21:06, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The diagram is indeed incorrect. More reliable figure may be found on page 31 of "The Pursuit of Technological Superiority and the Shrinking American Military", Daniel Lake https://books.google.fr/books?id=Kd2EDwAAQBAJ .
