Water supply for Mission/Abby?[edit]

A while back there were plans in the works to make Norrish Creek a drinking water source for Mission, maybe for Abby....did this ever get past planning stages; even if not, mention that the plans had been field and not passed is still the kind of thinkg that can go in the article, provided a citation accompanies it; but is the reason for the gated access maybe because of the possible watershed? "Suicide Creek"[edit]

This is what we called it back in the '70s, "suicide" to swim in beacuse it's so cold. There was also a hermit who lived up the valley and none of the kids I knew from Dewdney/Nicomen went up in there back then, risking getting fired at, so the stories went; kind of place you dind't go unless you had business to, don't know who the hermit was....Skookum1 (talk) 02:24, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
