  • Soman, the article is well written! I've got couple of questions. Did the literature, both in English and Russian, discuss the committee substantially in line according to WP:BRANCH? The comment about the 60,000 members - did you intend to uncomment and forgot or something else? — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:48, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, would you be able to add a quote for the hook reference (here and in article)? — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:50, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hi. In regards to branch, I'd say that regional units of the Communist Party were pretty notable in Soviet Russia/Soviet Union. This was essentially a key organ of goverance for a territory with millions of inhabitants (albeit effective control of territory fluctuated a lot over time, as the German-Russian frontlines moved). The quote from there reference is "Агитацией в неприятельских армиях на западе и северо - западе России руководил Северо - Западный областной комитет РКП ( б ) ( А. Ф. Мясников , В. Г. Кнорин , И. Я. Алибегов и др . ) , находившийся в Смоленске . Он создает сеть подпольных организаций в Белоруссии , западных областях России , которым вменяется в обязанность наладить распространение и издание итературы для немецких солдат . Большие партии литературы , материальные средства направляет сюда ЦК РКП ( б ) ." (rough translation: "Agitation in the enemy armies in the west and northwest of Russia was led by the Northwestern Regional Committee of the RCP ( b ) ( AF Myasnikov , VG Knorin , I. Ya. Alibegov and others ) , located in Smolensk . It creates a network of underground organizations in Belorussia, the western regions of Russia, which are charged with the responsibility of organizing the distribution and publication of literature for German soldiers. Large batches of literature and material resources are sent here by the Central Committee of the RCP ( b ) ."). --Soman (talk) 13:47, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
