1958 Race Shell-Mex film

[edit]

There's a Shell-Mex film of the 1958 North West 200 race that was used as a Trade test colour films on YouTube here: [23] that someone might find useful, if only for nostalgia's sake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.4.57.101 (talk) 18:46, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Violaton of 3RR rule

[edit]

Might I suggest, Intimidator, that you self-revert your last edit, since you are in violation of the WP:3RR rule? Failure to do so might result in your being blocked from editing. The edit is uncited. Any uncited information, as per wiki guidelines, can be deleted by any editor. Your incivility in your response also is frowned upon by wiki guidelines. Take care. I needed two reverts to get you started talking what your problem is. And then you asked for a reference that already was in the article for the whole time. So what reaction do you expect?--Intimidator (talk) 08:58, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
While there are exceptions for violating the 3RR rule, lack of understanding is not one of them. I clearly gave you my reason after your first revert - uncited. You ignored that, or did not understand that, and reverted again. So I gave you an expanded answer after your second revert. Yet you still reverted, in violation of the 3RR rule, and were uncivil in doing so. The place to elicit conversation is not in the edit summary, but in here on the talk page. Which I did. You still have not self-reverted, and I suggest that you do so, since you are still in violation of the 3RR rule. Onel5969 (talk) 12:40, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I have now seen where you wrote uncited for the first time. I haven't seen this yet, my fault. But when you wrote uncited the source which references the chapter of Simon Andrews was already in the article. So what is your point now? Why should I remove this sourced paragraph?--Intimidator (talk) 13:51, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
