This article says: "At the time the story was written and published, the astronauts of Project Apollo had landed on the Moon and explored only a tiny fraction." This doesn't make sense to me, since the story was written in 1949, while the first moon landing was in 1969. Am I misinterpreting something here? Mstemper (talk) 17:29, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No. It was fixed. Zaslav (talk) 09:29, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Future History

[edit]

I always assumed this story was a Future History. Who says it was not? Zaslav (talk) 09:32, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It was collected in Off the Main Sequence which ostensibly means all the stuff that wasn't Future History. But I do not believe that RAH was all that dogmatic about which stories were, and which were not 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:3167:66A1:1588:91FA (talk) 13:03, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
