I have not edited the rewritten version of the article. It's likely that none of the changes I made are still even on this page, so I think I'm okay to review. Loved this album. Since it's low in the album queue, I may wait a bit before I actually review this. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 13:05, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Starting right now, but I may not be able to publish my suggestions immediately. I will correct myself, however, that I have made one edit to the page - nothing significant though. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 02:32, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

  • Second sentence is unnecessary; coverage in Background is sufficient.
  • You don't need to list every single mixer here, the majority is fine. On the other hand, you could say that half the album was produced by Squire and the rest split amongst the other three. <-- I know 'amongst' is somehow a word, but my computer doesn't like it...do the best you can there, use a different word if you'd like.
  • The "Weightless" single release only needs mentioned in its first country of release here.
  • I feel like there are too many tours listed in the lead. Of course you can have them in the article, but not here - maybe mention the big festivals they appeared at, like Bamboozle and Warped, all in one.
  • In conclusion to this section: Frankly, while I like most of your work, I feel rather uncomfortable with this lead, Yeepsi. Too much of this I feel belongs in other sections. You're very specific in nature to the details, which usually isn't part of the typical Wiki page lead. I suffer from this too, occasionally, but I'm trying to work on stopping that.

Background[edit]

  • That part about the song they wrote with Hoppus shouldn't be a note, just write it.
  • Don't use a slash for Hoppus' bands, just separate them with 'and'.
  • Perhaps note that the writing/break announcement came just weeks after the first single on their previous album? "Dear Maria" was released on May 6 and the announcement was on May 22, which surprises me.
  • Should Milwaukee be linked?

Recording[edit]

  • Move the first two sentences of the second paragraph to the end of the first.
  • Third paragraph: I at first questioned how some of this info was even relevant, but it's because of the way it's written. He wrote the foundation of the songs, and clarified over did clarify. Beginning of the first sentence could say "On Nothing Personal" beforehand if you think it benefits the prose and understanding.
  • Release: Why is Fall Out Boy in quotemarks?

Reception[edit]

  • everything that its title implies
  • I thought the ref tag next to "On May 26, the album's artwork" was totally unnecessary at first, until I realized that it might be citing the date. I doubt it's necessary still, but someone else may tell me otherwise.
  • I found a lot to scrutinize about, but really this is passable for GA after these things are done. FAs don't seem to be your thing at the moment so I'll come back when necessary. No need to be ultra meticulous.

I really should stop doing these things, this always happens. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 21:33, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
