I'd be very interested if anyone has or can find any images of what the entrances to the pre-1960's stations looked like, and where they were relative to now. A building on Notting Hill Gate, currently the Bargain Bookshop, has the styling similar to that of a tube station - blue and white rectangular tiles, I'm wondering if this was the central line station or if its a later building. There's a link to a picture of the original Central Line station building in the external links section. The original District Line station was on the south side of Notting Hill Gate directly opposite the end of Pembridge Gardens. The Central Line station was on the west side of Pembridge Gardens at the corner with Notting Hill Gate.--DavidCane 01:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
