Nova Direita → New Right (Portugal) – WP:EN. English names are preferred for all political parties. Curiously, this page already opens with the name in English. This very simple name is easily and uncontroversially translated to English, as opposed to more interpretive names like Sumar and La France Insoumise. Sources using this name in English (within brackets or outright) include [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] Unknown Temptation (talk) 12:15, 9 June 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Oppose, WP:EN states to use the common name in English, not exclusively an English name/translation. There is no such policy mandating English names for all (including non-English-speaking) political parties. Some of those sources provided use "New Right" as a translation, and all secondary to "Nova Direita". Except noticiasaominuto.com which while used "New Right" in the heading, then used "Nova Direita" in text, so not consistent. Additionally, should there be no established use in the English language, then WP:USENATIVE can be considered, using the Portuguese name, as it is its proper name. The translation should only be used if it is proven to be the more common name as a clear proper name. I don't see the evidence proving that. The lead should be amended based on the outcome of this RM. DankJae 14:19, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
