i want to be in now united

[edit]

who to be come now united Fadé tacko sow (talk) 03:42, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if you belong to any of the 15 countries whose members are already in NU, then your chances are less. On a positive note, if you belong to North Africa / The Middle East or Ghana, you can audition for it :) Malvika Mahay (talk) 18:32, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, flags are not limited to sports

[edit]

@Aspects: Your justification for wiping out all the flags in the member table is not convincing. Per WP:WORDPRECEDENCE, flags are perfectly appropriate in this context as it states Flag icons may be relevant in some subject areas, where the subject actually represents that country or nationality – such as military units or national sports teams. In lists or tables, flag icons may be relevant when such representation of different subjects is pertinent to the purpose of the list or table itself. By no means does it state that flag usage is only limited to a certain field of interest such as sports (as you make it out to be) or even in the military, they are just simply examples. I'm assuming that sports were just specifically used in WP:FLAGBIO as the majority of flag usage on Wikipedia falls within the realm of sports, but nowhere does it accurately imply that they can't be used outside of the area. As it is literally the group's brand that each member represents a certain country and their flags are even visible on their stage outfits, hence the name "Now United", there is no good reason why flags should not be used in the member table to clearly display each member's representative country. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 23:01, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The members are not representing the county or nationality in the sense of the example of military units or national sports teams. Recently @Vikenviksingh: removed the column saying it was redundant to the hometown column, which would make this discussion pointless because if flagicons are added back, it would be to show about their hometown and not their representation. Aspects (talk) 04:31, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think the only reason why the column was removed because you removed all the flags, thus making the entire column redundant. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 02:07, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the use of flag icons would be appropriate here, as the members are not representing those countries in any official sense, unlike someone representing a country in the olympics or as a member of a country's military. Kaldari (talk) 03:53, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mélanie's birthday

[edit]

Anyone who can modify the information on the Now United page about Mélanie, please change her date of birth because the information that she was born on November 23 is wrong, in fact she was born on October 23 (the same day Sofya's birthday). Realmealana (talk) 18:16, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Joalin on the timeline

[edit]

I've talked about this here earlier as well... So if anyone would kindly edit Joalin's timeline just a little. She was with the group (took part in live show in Abu Dhabi at the end of 2020) so here on the timeline it shows as if she had been inactive for so long time continously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 333JO333 (talkcontribs) 17:00, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Zane is not a member of NU

[edit]

Every time I change it so that Zane isn't a member of NU ppl change it back and it is true that Zane is just there for the musical and nothing else and is not a confirmed member of NU! Limeisthebest123 (talk) 19:43, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that you're not aware of the official announcemente made last week about Zane oficially joining the group to replace Noah as the US member. Please watch on YouTube the video "A Special Message From Noah", on Now United official channel, and you'll see the official announcement. Guajoca (talk) 23:22, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong map

[edit]

The map shows Crimea as part of Russia, which is a breach of any international agreements and is illegally annexed territory that is actually part of Ukraine. Please fix it. 85.230.83.125 (talk) 01:11, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
