Is it basshunter who does the singing in the english version? It doesnt sound like him...Slipzen (talk) 14:05, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, it isn't. I've seen a 'DJ Alex' floating around in (mostly) unofficial sources. It is DEFINITELY not Jonas (Basshunter) himself. VxJasonxV (talk) 16:30, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it was by DJ Mental Theo's Bazzheadz? (talk) 20:44, 07 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The single on its release on Hard2Beat Records on 7 January 2008 was credited to Basshunter. The producer is Jonas Altberg (otherwise known as Basshunter)though the vocals are by Sebastian Westwood. As is often the case with dance singles, poor old Sebastian doesn't even get a credit on the record sleeve! DJ Alex is responsible for the remix at track 3 on the original release (DJ Alex Extended Mix). This is the same song as Boten Anna by the same artist. It may have been remixed, and the meaning of the lyrics may have been changed in translation (not an unusual thing when songs are translated from one language to another), but it remains the same song, with the same writer, and the articles should therefore be merged.

Erm, is it really about them "getting over the break-up"? They *KISS* at the end. Maybe we should reword that to something more reflective of "getting back together"? :P 60.240.170.109 (talk) 16:07, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the song is actually not about an SMS break-up and subsequent events, that would be... the video. It would be like saying Tool's songs are all about creepy deformed people. Osmodius (talk) 13:31, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone else think that the lyrics of this song are really poor? Most of the time the lyrics don't even match the synth or beat, and there's some horribly stretched and crushed syllables to try to get them to fit in. Can't imagine how this is so popular when you consider that Boten Anna is available just as easily. On another note, BassHunter had very little to do with this track. From what I've heard and read he isn't very happy about this remix and its reception (due to the fact that it sucks, yet people go crazy over it), however I can't quote any reliable references. I've even heard that it was an unauthorized remix, but I'm not sure about that. And the song meaning is about breaking up, but text messages aren't mentioned or even hinted at in the song itself, only in the video. Techno songs are mostly known for their nonsensical/lack of lyrics and hardcore bass tracks. Basshunter is a typical example of a techno group. Techno lyrics are never meant to be as good as other genres, since Techno is more about repetition and the party atmosphere. AlexFili (talk) 12:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Let us not forget that this is not originally an english-language song, so squeezing a completely different language in is sometimes hard to pull off rhythmically. VxJasonxV (talk) 08:55, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
