Septuple?[edit]
- I came to this page from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_system#Septuple, and this page also clearly states that Nu Scorpii is a septuple star system, but if Nu Scorpii Aa is a binary star (as is claimed in this article - composed of Nu Scorpii Aaa and Nu Scorpii Aab), doesn't that make Nu Scorpii a Octuple star system? - The description is hard to follow, but I think there are only seven stars: see the hierarchy diagram for some clarity. Component Aa is not a binary, but is one component of the (single-lined) binary referred to as Aab. The article clearly states that component A is a triple star: the components are shown in the diagram as Aa, Ab, and Ac. See MSC for a reliable source showing seven stars.
