Obligation ?
[edit]How are moms chosen for those visits? Where does the organization get the data/knowlegde of pregnancy from? Is it an obligation to take part like you don't want help, you don't get any welfare money?--Mideal (talk) 13:24, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
The Nurse-Family Partnership program is free and voluntary for moms. To qualify for the program, a mom must be pregnant with her first child and meet low-income requirements. The program is based on randomized, controlled trials that demonstrated effectiveness in improving pregnancy outcomes and child health and development.
