This page should not be speedily deleted because... Nutty Noah has appeared on TV (The Slammer), and written several albums (available on iTunes and Amazon). Surely he's notable? If someone can help me with a definition of what makes a notable person. --Woofywoofwoof (talk) 14:37, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:GNG. Producing stuff does not make one notable; the stuff has to gain critical attention or some other coverage. Simlarly appearing on TV does notautomatically confer notability... have you watched any television recently?. In any case I've only nominated this for deletion...an admin actually has to do the dirty.TheLongTone (talk) 14:45, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've found several links to BBC News for the encased in cheese stunt. Reference changed from the Bristol Post to a BBC news article.Woofywoofwoof (talk) 15:06, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... this person has appear on television (The Slammer) and also produced several albums. There's a page for someone called "Mike Absalom" who has only had one TV performance, and his page mostly refers to items on his own webpage. The page for Nutty Noah is not self referential. --Woofywoofwoof (talk) 14:50, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. See also WP:OTHERSTUFF.TheLongTone (talk) 14:59, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
However Mike Absalom has a biog on allmusic.com. IMO not much, but it seems to get him over the bar.TheLongTone (talk) 15:02, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
