The image depicting structure of hexamethylene diamine, and hence nylon 610 looks wrong.

[edit]

I have absolutely zero idea how wikipedia editing works, so i figured i'd leave this here;

hexamethylene diamine has formula H2N(CH2)6NH2, and it can clearly be seen that the image at the article has only 4 C atoms.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexamethylenediamine - the right image.

Moreover i propose that there must be a nylon 610 in nylon post, and this article be added to the nylon post like an addendum.

I don't know if anyone would ever see this, or fix this image, but many students looking at this post would appreciate it for long after if anyone capable of editing this article can fix it right 125.182.56.220 (talk) 09:00, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for catching the error. I believe that the error was mine. I'll work on correcting it, if I can find some structure drawing software on-line. ChemDraw is no longer available to me. Nolabob (talk) 22:28, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have replaced the figure. I hope that it is now correct. Nolabob (talk) 17:04, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
