I think it is better to make a distinction between official statements by politicians and of people talking in private functions like Van Tan at this stage. His contribution could later be discussed in the history section or even better a new article been created. I think that if OREC is really going to be created the homepage of OPEC on wikipedia could serve as a good example. (Tadju (talk) 16:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Is this organization even alive in 2020? Did it have any effect on the rice markets in the last 12 years, or did it fail? Gnuish (talk) 06:54, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The site was up until April 2022 which now seems to be run by a gambling company. The site was last updated in 2013. The organisation seems to have no imapct and is no more. Changeworld1984 (talk) 11:17, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
