Notability or just a definition?[edit]

This article so far is mostly a definition. Is there going to be content added from reliable sources where this subject has been discussed as more than just a definition more appropriate to Wiktionary than Wikipedia? ChildofMidnight (talk) 06:12, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • thank you for your interest in this article. It is quite notable and an important topic in botany. More content and sources to come. You are rather quick on the trigger to tag a new article under construction. A fair minded person would have the courtesy to remove this tag. This article is already better sourced than 70 percent of wikipedia articles. Plumpurple (talk) 06:38, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The tags are used to note areas that need improvement. They can be removed at any time by any editor, usually after the concerns are addressed. You might consider using an {{underconstruction}} tag in future. Otherwise there's no way to tell if you've just started working on the article or you're finished. The other way to go is to work on it in your userspace until it's ready and then move it to article space. Looks good though, thanks for the interesting contribution. Wouldn't some line drawing samples be appropriate? fuzzface80 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.173.32.38 (talk) 12:32, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
