Comment[edit]

The phrase "decentres the constructed ideals of homosocial institutions" could be simplified. "challenges the typical notion of homosocial institutions" for example.

I think when we move into the realms of 'decentreing' and the idea of 'constructs' we end up more with a piece of post-modern criticism than an accessible encyclopaedia article.
