Dalhousie university safety paper[edit]

I can find no such paper after a brief search. Anyone else have better luck? Should be removed if it cant be cited.2601:281:8180:10C0:107C:A161:BAF6:A (talk) 06:56, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No proper reference has been added in almost two years and the editor who added it is apparently inactive. I can find no sign this was a published study. Perhaps this was a small-scale university project that was unpublished, but that's only my speculation. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 20:46, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal - Baxter Allingham[edit]

Merge – I've found that when it's difficult to find many applicable WikiProjects or categories for the subject of an article, it's often the case that the subject is insufficiently notable. Perhaps additional reliable sources can be identified so Allingham's article can be fleshed out, but until then it's my opinion that a merge is appropriate. —ADavidB 17:52, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am of the the opinion that Baxter Allingham is indeed notable on his own. Not only for the his heroics in the Ocean Ranger disaster, but including the aftermath of that event where he was a voice for better safety equipment and casualty retrieval systems. In addition to that, he was featured in a CBC Television program where the Ocean Ranger disaster was barely mentioned. A minor note, he was part of the rescue efforts for the Capsizing of the Villa de Pitanxo. LilJohnnyWimple (talk to me) 22:30, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support merge; WP:1E applies here, and heroics versus doing your job is a rather subjective distinction. I note also that while Maersk Nexus is mentioned in the articlable about Capsizing of the Villa de Pitanxo, Allingham wasn't mentioned in the reference.
