A Biomarker for Parkinson's disease
[edit]I don't feel qualified to post the details of this but this compound has been identified as a biomarker (along with hippuric acid and eicosane/icosane) in the sebum of people suffering from Parkinson's disease which may lead to a predictive test which could be used before symptoms manifest themselves. I shall post similar talk topics in the three other relevant articles.
