Anti-piracy alliance

Request citation/reference/evidence for "and is supported by at least one governmental agency."
As far as I can see from the AVPAS member list, there is NO indication that it is anything but a private organization! It is related to neither the police nor the relevant government agencies.

Stephen Sing's Bragging

Also, it is the company's (Odex's) job to ensure that the material they distribute is original, but this was not done as the some of the subs were copied from other fansubs, with Sing putting the blame on the fans they hired. However, it is ultimately the company which has to take the responsibility. Wonder if this can be included? --121.6.64.153 19:53, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Odex's side of the story

I think information needs to be included about Odex's side of the story from the clarification it published on page 2 of The Straits Times on 22 August 2007. For instance, based on earlier news reports the Wikipedia article currently states: "The company is expected to collect approximately a total of S$15 million from out-of-court settlements with the identified 3,000 downloaders". Odex has refuted this as untrue, pointing out that 3,000 IP addresses does not equate to 3,000 different subscribers. Cheers, Jacklee 18:00, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Fansubs helping Singaporean downloaders by blocking BitTorrent downloads?

Read this awhile ago. Not sure if it should be added. So far, only this said fansub has blocked Singapore IP ranges. Most of the other trackers (usually generic ones, such as scarywater and anirena) have yet to do anything. [1] --Snowstormz 15:59, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
