Transfer

[edit]

Seems his transfer not yet complete, as Udinese run out of non-EU quota. Matthew_hk tc 08:29, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Goals

[edit]

Someone is repeatedly listing his record incorrectly in the top right box, even when I correct it. His 3 goals in 8 games for Watford while on loan keep getting double counted in his totals since signing permanently.

Club Statistics Section vs. Profile Box

[edit]

The stats in these two do not match- in the bottom box there is no mention of his loan spell at Watford. As such the top box gives different goalscoring figures.82.132.229.120 (talk) 20:00, 8 November 2015 (UTC) He scored about 4 goals for Manchester United while on loan — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D09:E81:9B00:9139:3541:DF47:5C1A (talk) 03:17, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

With new source someone else presented, now available at the very start of club career, something had to be adjusted but it could not continue the way it was, he cannot have been born BOTH in Lagos and Edo (state) (I did my homework with the help of WP (of course!) and found out Lagos is not in Edo State, hence the impossibility of Mr. Ighalo having been born in two places at once).

I amended wording to the best of my abilities, if anybody knows/has more... Attentively --Be Quiet AL (talk) 06:00, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First paragraph

[edit]

"The first paragraph should define or identify the topic with a neutral point of view, but without being too specific."

MOS:LEADPARAGRAPH

The opening paragraph of this article establishes the identity of the subject within a single sentence before going on to talk about more specific info about how he got to this point in his career. There is no need to merge the two paragraphs or to delete the info about his current club from the opening sentence. By doing that, you are burying the lead; people would expect to be able to find out who he is currently playing for within the first sentence. – PeeJay 15:52, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have made a false accusation of vandalism, demonstrating that your editing is in bad faith. Apologise for and withdraw that accusation. 51.7.23.58 (talk) 16:05, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This edit warring between the above IP address and some of us should have stopped by now. The above covers the issues. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 16:59, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So much bad faith reverting. What a disgusting bunch of editors, really. Infantile, and unable to understand the mere concept of writing in paragraphs. The false accusations of vandalism and attempts to game the system show exactly what kind of people I'm dealing with here. Simply disgusting. 51.7.23.58 (talk) 17:00, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
5 reverts by User:Nnadigoodluck, 4 reverts by User:PeeJay2K3, 2 by User:Mattythewhite, 2 by User:Iggy the Swan, one single half-hearted attempt by one of those four to explain the reverting above. Ridiculous. 51.7.23.58 (talk) 17:03, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have no intention of engaging with the above user on any subject other than the structure of the article's opening paragraph. These comments above are nothing but misdirection, and I certainly have no intention of apologising to them. – PeeJay 11:45, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Accidental revert

This revert here was really accidental. I didn't do it on purpose. —Nnadigoodluck🇳🇬 06:27, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
