for Indian Land Grants

see chapter 20, page 216 of [1] which enumerates a number of grants to Indians in Northwest Ohio, with the Moravian Indian Grants in Tuscarawas County, Chapter 19, page 205-215 of same reference.

Dolerman Grant[edit]

a search of google books turns up no details on Dolerman. The only references seem to be lists of Ohio Lands that do not include the Dohrman tract. The "le" could be a mis-reading of a smudged "h".

External links[edit]

the current list of links is a pretty random assortment, and they're showing their age. For example, the 'Evolution of Ohio OPLIN' link (while really quaint..) tells a very oversimplified history of Ohio land. The topic is actually exceedingly complicated... So I'm planning to add some newer sources from my research within the month or so. For example, this particularly exhaustive work on the exact movement of Ohio borders over time --> (Williams, J. L. (2013). Blazes, Posts & Stones. University of Akron Press.). As well as other summary works. I think worth noting also is the contribution that the paths of indigenous americans had in the divisions of land over time (portage paths which turned into territory boundaries and warpaths for all involved nations...) --Kelseytron (talk) 12:40, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
