Isn't this more properly called the "Okanagan Lake Floating Bridge"? That's how it appears on roadmaps... Not sure where to confirm that. --rakslice 22:37, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This bridge is known by several names by the locals, but the official name seems to be Okanagan Lake Bridge:
The William R. Bennett Bridge replaces the current three-lane Okanagan Lake Bridge in Kelowna.[1]
The new toll-free bridge, which will replace the current Okanagan Lake Bridge, will have five lanes, an elevated span to allow for the passage of marine traffic, and improved access for cyclists and pedestrians.[2]
The Okanagan Lake Bridge, located on Highway 97 in Kelowna, is the most congested stretch of highway outside the Lower Mainland.[3]

Now that the last part of this bridge is being demolished, and the new bridge has been filling this one's shoes for a while, I think that for the convenience of searchers, "Okanagan Lake Bridge" should redirect to the article on the new bridge. There can be a redirect note and link there for people who actually wanted the article on the older bridge. As part of that change, this article would need to be moved; I suggest "Old Okanagan Lake Bridge". Note that the rename is just for bookkeeping; the bolded text in the body of the article with the actual names of the bridge could stay the same.
