POV language about the institution's Title IX exemption

PreacherboyMN and one or more unregistered editors are protesting the language used in this article - language that is very similar to that used in many other articles - to describe the institution's exemption to Title IX. In particular, they object to describing this exemption as discrimination against LGBTQ people. However, the cited source makes it very clear that this is an accurate description: "Title IX of the Education Act protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal funding. The law provides an exemption for schools controlled by religious organizations that hold conflicting beliefs."

I acknowledge that those who discriminate against LGBTQ people sometimes like to use religion to excuse their actions and beliefs, including the administrators of this institution, but that doesn't in any way mean that it's not discrimination. WP:NPOV demands that we accurately describe this in the article, in line with reliable sources. ElKevbo (talk) 15:16, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
